Welcome to my new page!

My name is Grove Rune. For most of my life thus far, I have been a songwriter, performer, and a piano teacher to tiny humans. These are still true, but as I get older my passion for astrology, esoteric and occult philosophy and practices, and musing about what we’re all doing here becomes more and more where my heart wants to rest most of its time. I have been studying astrology as a side hobby for nearly 15 years, but this year I set out on the adventure to become certified through The American Federation of Astrologers. I have no intention to ever stop my education. I want to learn from as many teachers as I can and take as many courses from other perspectives as I can. This subject is so endlessly fascinating and its implications so vast and minute. Current teachers I am actively learning from are Chris Brennan, creator and host of The Astrology Podcast, Daniel and Eduardo of the Know Thyself Podcast, and Mitch Horowitz, an incredible occult author and thinker whom I deeply respect.

My passion is and always has been connection. Connection to self, to others, and how very much the same those two are. Connection to The All and The Nothing. Connection to Loosening Connection. Everything I do stems from this intention. The mundane affairs of my life only seem important from this intention.

This will largely be a place for my astrological and esoteric musings, a scheduler for my astrology clients, as well as a hub for my new art adventures. I am new to website development and did this all on my own, so if you have any feedback at all, I’d love to receive it so I can best connect to you!
